Helldivers 2 Servants of Freedom Warbond Update Launches February 6

Two armored characters stand ready with weapons against a fiery backdrop, emblazoned with the "Helldivers II" logo. The text reads, "Warbond Update - Helldivers 2: Servants of Freedom," highlighting the latest thrilling chapter in their battle.

The Helldivers 2 Servants of Freedom Warbond update will be available starting February 6, bringing a host of new gear, armours, and cosmetic options. This update builds on the game’s focus on offering gamers more ways to express their loyalty to Super Earth while adding new tools for your missions. From explosive devices to protective armours, there’s plenty to help you spread democracy.

New Gear and Tactical Options

The update features several new pieces of equipment. The B-100 Portable Hellbomb is a new backpack device that delivers significant damage with a ten-second countdown. The LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle can now be overclocked for extra power, burning both the user and enemies in its path. The GP-20 Ultimatum is a grenade pistol designed for close-range combat, offering a powerful explosive option.

Additionally, the G-50 Seeker drone follows enemies and explodes on contact, with the ability to target pinged foes.

Amidst the fiery, ruined urban landscape, a hooded character with a futuristic weapon stands strong. As part of the Helldivers 2: Servants of Freedom initiative, they face down enemies with remarkable bravery in this Warbond update—a true testament to resilience and valor.

New Armours and Explosive Protection

The Servants of Freedom Warbond update introduces two new medium armours: the IE-3 Martyr and the IE-12 Righteous. These armours provide both protection and a powerful feature called Integrated Explosives. When a Helldiver wearing these armours dies, they detonate, dealing damage to nearby enemies, ensuring that even in death, you can still get revenge.

The armours also come with unique design elements, including helmets with stoic faces that show no fear in battle. The robe and cloak-inspired details emphasize the player’s loyalty to Super Earth.

If you want to personalize your gear further, the Fre Liberam and Per Democrasum capes are available. These capes complement the new armours and give you an additional way to show your dedication to Super Earth.

Additional Cosmetics and Titles

The Servants of Freedom Warbond update also adds new cosmetics to customize your Helldiver. You can equip the Servant of Freedom player title, which shows your dedication to Super Earth. This title helps you stand out from others, letting everyone know where your loyalty lies.

In addition, the Raise Weapon cheer allows you to express your enthusiasm and rally your team. These additions offer a simple way to personalize your experience and reinforce your role as a dedicated Helldiver.
