LG Electronics and Ubisoft are teaming up to bring Just Dance Now to LG Smart TVs through cloud gaming, marking another step in LG’s growing push into interactive entertainment. The collaboration will make one of the world’s most popular dance games available directly through the LG Gaming Portal, with no console or downloads required.

Set to debut in December 2025, Just Dance Now will first roll out across North America and Europe, with an early beta launching in France, the UK, and Canada. During the beta, users can try three songs on day one and one additional song daily over a two-week trial. The full release will follow shortly after, supported on all LG Smart TVs running webOS 22 or later.

With more than 135 million players worldwide, Just Dance Now lets users dance along to hundreds of tracks using the LG Magic Remote as a motion controller. Gameplay runs entirely in the cloud through the LG Gaming Portal, letting users stream songs and choreography online without extra hardware.

The move reinforces LG’s growing role in cloud gaming. Following earlier partnerships with Blacknut and Gameloft, Just Dance Now highlights how LG is using cloud connectivity to turn Smart TVs into full entertainment hubs.

Cloud Gaming on the Dance Floor

Just Dance Now on LG Smart TVs brings motion-based cloud gaming to the living room. The game streams entirely through the LG Gaming Portal, powered by the cloud, so no console or downloads are required. Using the LG Magic Remote as a motion controller, every dance move is tracked in real time and mirrored on screen. For those who want more, additional songs and premium packs can be unlocked through subscriptions or one-time purchases after the daily free play period.

At launch, LG Smart TV owners will gain access to hundreds of songs, including an exclusive map featuring “Money Pull Up,” available only on LG TVs. It’s a fun, limited-time bonus celebrating the collaboration’s debut. Ubisoft’s Amelie Louvet, Brand Director for Just Dance at the Paris Studio, said the partnership opens Just Dance Now to more homes by turning any living room into an interactive dance floor.

The setup makes Just Dance Now one of the most accessible cloud-powered experiences yet. All choreography, songs, and visuals stream directly from Ubisoft’s servers through the LG Gaming Portal, ensuring smooth performance and consistent responsiveness. It’s another example of how LG is using cloud gaming technology to expand interactive entertainment on Smart TVs.

LG’s Expanding Gaming Strategy

Just Dance Now joins a growing lineup of experiences available through the LG Gaming Portal, following LG’s recent collaborations with Blacknut and Gameloft. The company’s approach focuses on turning Smart TVs into full gaming hubs, where users can stream premium games without consoles or downloads.

According to Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at LG’s Media Entertainment Solution Company, this collaboration with Ubisoft reflects LG’s commitment to evolving the Gaming Portal into a central destination for cloud-based entertainment. By working with leading partners, LG continues to expand both its library and the technology supporting it.

With games like Asphalt Legends Unite available through Blacknut’s ad-funded cloud model and Just Dance Now powered by Ubisoft’s cloud infrastructure, LG is positioning its Smart TVs as a bridge between interactive entertainment and cloud streaming. The company’s ongoing efforts show how Smart TVs can deliver more flexible, device-free access to major gaming experiences. A vision that aligns closely with the global shift toward cloud-based play.

A New Era for Living Room Cloud Gaming

The arrival of Just Dance Now on LG Smart TVs signals another step forward for cloud gaming in the home. It shows how major publishers and hardware makers can work together to make interactive entertainment more accessible without the need for dedicated consoles.

As LG continues developing its Gaming Portal, partnerships like this one highlight how the company is combining streaming technology and motion-based gameplay to reach broader audiences. With more cloud-powered titles arriving through collaborations with Ubisoft, Blacknut, and Gameloft, LG Smart TVs are becoming a true platform for connected entertainment.

The Just Dance Now beta begins in select regions, including France, the UK, and Canada, ahead of its full launch this December across North America and Europe. It’s a promising look at how cloud gaming can turn any TV into a stage, a racetrack, or a game world ready to stream in seconds.
