Amazon Luna currently officially supports Fire TV and Samsung TV devices. But, that group of supported TVs is about to grow in a big way with the addition of LG TVs. (You can also sideload the FireTV app on Android TV or Google TV devices)
LG and Amazon today announced this new partnership today:
The app should be available on LG smart TVs from 2021 and beyond with Web OS 6.0 and beyond.
While the Luna+ subscription continues to shed more games than it is getting, moves like this show us that the service is still moving forward. We think Luna could have a strong future providing free cloud gaming options for Amazon Prime subscribers who can currently play Fortnite as well as a rotating selection of 4 games for free.
