It’s been awhile (almost a year) since Xbox cloud gaming was first announced as coming to Meta’s Quest devices. At the Meta Quest 3 announcement last week, howevert, Meta put a date on when Xbox Cloud Gaming would arrive on Quest VR headsets. It’s coming this December – just two months away! The app should be coming to the Meta Quest 2, 3 and Pro.

You will be able to play on what is essentially a large curved screen that you can take with you wherever you go – and seemingly in mixed reality mode as well.

Rumors have been spreading that Xbox Cloud Gaming will be expanding from Samsung TVs to include (at least) LG TVs soon as well. This would expand Xbox Cloud access to:

  • Consoles (Xbox Series + One)
  • Anything with a browser (PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, Car Infotainment Centers etc.)
  • Mobile Phones (iOS and Android)
  • Smart TVs
  • VR Headsets

They now just need some more server blades in the cloud to reduce the queue wait time since Starfield’s release.
