Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s Open Beta is now live on GeForce NOW through September 1 at 10 AM PDT.

The beta is open to everyone, and Activision has also released new RICOCHET Anti-Cheat enforcement numbers as Weekend Two begins. The latest update includes action against cheat sellers and vendors, not just cheating inside matches.

Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Is Live on GeForce NOW

NVIDIA lists Battle.net, Steam, and XBOX for the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta on GeForce NOW. You don’t need a pre-order or beta code to take part. The wider Open Beta is also available natively on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, PlayStation 5, Steam, Battle.net, and Nintendo Switch 2.

For cloud gamers, the useful part is that NVIDIA has now confirmed exactly which storefront versions are supported through GeForce NOW. That makes it much clearer how to jump into the beta through the service before it ends on September 1.

RICOCHET Is Going After Cheat Sellers

Activision’s RICOCHET team has also published a fresh enforcement update around Modern Warfare 4’s beta. This one goes beyond what happens inside a match.

RICOCHET says it has disrupted more than 375 cheat reseller operations as part of its broader crackdown. It has also served more than 80 cease-and-desist demands and shut down more than 30 vendors.

Those figures measure different types of enforcement, so they shouldn’t be rolled into one total. They also aren’t Modern Warfare 4 beta numbers. Activision shared them alongside Beta Weekend 1, but they reflect broader work against Call of Duty cheat sellers.

What stands out here is how much of that work is happening outside the game itself. Catching someone using cheats is one part of the problem. RICOCHET is also going after the operations selling and distributing that software, including through cease-and-desist demands and vendor shutdowns.

The timing is useful as the beta opens to everyone. Modern Warfare 4 is now available across its supported platforms, including through GeForce NOW. Activision is also continuing its enforcement against businesses supplying Call of Duty cheats.

The Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Ends September 1

If you want to try Modern Warfare 4 through GeForce NOW, you don’t have long.

The Open Beta ends September 1 at 10 AM PDT. After that, the next major date is October 23, 2026, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches.
