Netflix Minigolf Launches July 28 With Stranger Things, Squid Game, And Bridgerton Themed Courses

Netflix has announced Netflix Minigolf, a new four-person TV party game launching July 28 through Netflix Games. Developed by Netflix-owned Next Games, it brings Stranger Things, Squid Game, and Bridgerton together across more than 60 themed courses.

Each person uses a phone or tablet as the controller, with Netflix Minigolf appearing on a supported TV device. The courses combine minigolf with pinball-inspired obstacles, and collectible Pranks can interfere with an opponent’s turn.

More Than 60 Courses Draw From Three Netflix Series

The early course examples go beyond background decoration. Young-hee turns her line of sight into a hazard on a Squid Game course. Stranger Things uses the Demogorgon as another obstacle, and a victory can trigger an Eggo-themed celebration tied to Eleven.

Bridgerton is also represented through locations and references drawn from the series. Putting it beside Squid Game and Stranger Things is an odd combination, but that is part of the fun. The three series leave plenty of room for each course to look different without changing the simple goal of reaching the cup in fewer strokes.

Next Games previously developed Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales and Netflix Puzzled, giving the studio experience adapting Netflix properties.

Smartphones Control Four-Person Matches

Netflix Minigolf will be available through the Netflix app on supported TVs and TV streaming devices. Up to four people can join by scanning a QR code, then each person uses a phone or tablet to aim and take shots.

Netflix TV games do not support traditional controllers, so everyone needs a separate mobile device. The action stays on the television, and the phone handles each putt. I like that choice because it removes the usual scramble to find enough controllers before a group can start.

Pranks Can Disrupt An Opponent’s Turn

Pranks separate Netflix Minigolf from a standard lowest-score match. A collected Prank can target the person lining up a putt, letting someone else interfere without touching the ball.

Netflix has not shown every Prank yet, but the confirmed feature means everyone can remain involved between turns. Even after taking a shot, you can still affect the hole before the group reaches the cup. That suits a party game because nobody has to tune out after their own putt.

Netflix Minigolf Arrives On July 28

Netflix Minigolf joins Netflix Games on July 28, 2026, at no extra cost for Netflix members. It will be available on supported TVs and TV streaming devices in countries where Netflix TV games are currently offered.
