New Content Coming to Many Games on Stadia

Updated on 4/25 - Outright games removed Stadia from the Arctic Challenge DLC announcement as they look in to the Stadia release at a later date.

A whole bunch of new content is coming to many games on Stadia over the next few months. Let’s run them down:

Outriders A major update to Outriders is coming in the form of the Outriders Worldslayer release on June 30th (assuming the DLC arrives on Stadia day 1). The update comes with an entirely new campaign, new gear, new enemies and new environments. As many Stadians will be picking up this game for free as part of the May Stadia Pro releases, this add on could be something a fair number are willing to pick up to get a lot of extra content in the game.

Fast and the Furious Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R is getting a new area including 4 new tracks and new vehicles as part of the “Arctic Challenge” DLC. It was originally slated to release on Friday, April 22 – with Stadia explicitly mentioned but we haven’t seen it hit the store yet. But, we’d expect to see it out in the wild soon. Thanks to @4Scarrs_Gaming for bringing this to our attention! Update 4/25: Outright games removed Stadia from the announcement and are looking at bringing it to the platform at a later date.

Assasin’s Creed Valhalla got an update to 1.5.1 last week with 1.5.2 scheduled to come in May! 1.5.1 includes a bunch of new free content (our favorite!) including a new “Mastery Challenge Pack” and an in game event for spring: the Ostaria Festival where players can “complete various activities to earn all-new weapons, available only during the festival”! It’s never been a better time to jump back into AC: Valhalla!

Borderlands 3 is getting an update “later this spring” that is sure to make a fair number of folks happy! In particular, Crossplay between all platforms will be in tow!

Finally A Darkside Detective: A fumble in the Dark has added some more FREE content to the game – a brand new case, intriguingly titled “One Flew Into the Cuckoo’s Nest.” This game is free to claim on Stadia Pro; so, pro subscribers, go in and enjoy the new content!

We hope you enjoy all this new content coming to many games on Stadia! We sure will.
