Planet Zoo 2, Valor Mortis and Deep Dish Dungeon are now playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Forges of Corruption Edition is listed as cloud playable too. All four also support Xbox Play Anywhere, as does Prison Run and Gun, a small platformer that is not available to stream.
Valor Mortis and Deep Dish Dungeon launched yesterday as day-one Game Pass titles. Planet Zoo 2 launched the same day, but you need to buy it to stream it.
Xbox Cloud Gaming additions
Planet Zoo 2
Frontier Developments is both developer and publisher of this sequel to its zoo-building sim. It adds fully aquatic and flying species for the first time, plus wildlife reserves where you can release the animals you breed. It is cloud playable with Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, but the game itself has to be purchased. That makes it an easy way to try a heavy simulation game on a handheld or a low-end PC. See our Planet Zoo 2 cloud page for other services!
Valor Mortis
A first-person action game from developer One More Level and publisher Lyrical Games, where you play a resurrected soldier of Napoleon’s army in a plague-stricken Europe. It’s included with Game Pass Ultimate on day one and can be streamed on Essential or Premium if you buy it. See the Valor Mortis cloud page for more details.
Deep Dish Dungeon
A co-op dungeon crawler published by Raw Fury and developed by Behold Studios. You explore, gather resources to improve your camp, craft tools, and cook meals. A Game Pass day-one release, playable in the cloud with Ultimate or with Essential and Premium if you own it. It is also Xbox handheld verified. Take a look at our Deep Dish Dungeon cloud page.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Forges of Corruption Edition
Focus Entertainment publishes this bundle of the retro first-person shooter by Auroch Digital. Its Xbox store page lists it as cloud playable with Game Pass, and the game must be purchased. Just in time for Boltgun 2!
Xbox Play Anywhere
Planet Zoo 2, Valor Mortis, Deep Dish Dungeon, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun all support Xbox Play Anywhere, so one purchase covers Xbox and Windows PC, with progress synced through Xbox cloud saves. So does Prison Run and Gun from Silesia Games, an action platformer with 30 prison-escape levels.
The list keeps growing. Earlier this year we covered dozens of new Xbox Cloud games including Star Wars titles, and The Sinking City 2 and LEGO Classics.
