It’s been a busy couple of weeks for anyone following Amazon Luna news. After the announcement that the service is dropping third-party store support and a-la-carte purchases, we’ve all been waiting to see how the regular monthly drops would look. This May 2026 update is the first since that massive shift, and it’s leaning hard into big-name franchises to keep the momentum going. It’s the first real test for this new phase of the service.
Amazon is raising the temperature this month by moving some heavy hitters into the Luna Standard library. The big news is that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and the Resident Evil 2 rebuild are now available without an extra sub. You can jump into these right now as long as you’ve got an active Prime membership. Here’s everything you’ll find on Amazon Luna and PC this May 2026.
May 2026 Games: Included with Luna Standard
Amazon Luna is padding out the library with a mix of AAA blockbusters and classic LEGO games. These additions join the rotating roster of over 50 games you can stream to basically any screen you own. It’s a massive month for anyone into big-name franchises.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy puts you in Star-Lord’s jet boots for a trip across the cosmos. You aren’t just blasting aliens: you’re constantly managing the egos of Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot. I found myself stopping just to listen to the team argue in the back of the Milano, the writing is that good.
Resident Evil 2 is a masterclass in how to rebuild a classic. Raccoon City is falling apart, and you’re stuck in a police station that feels more like a tomb. The hostility of the environment never lets up, and the way the flashlight cuts through the dark makes every corner feel like a threat.
Cloud: Additional Games
Now Available
- Alien: Isolation
- Middle-earth: Shadow of War
- LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
- LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
In Alien: Isolation, Sevastopol Station is basically one giant death trap where you are the prey. It’s a game that actually makes me want to put the controller down because the Xenomorph is so persistent. Middle-earth: Shadow of War lets you build your own army of Uruks to take on Sauron, which is a great time if you like managing a hostile battlefield.
The LEGO games offer a much more relaxed time on Amazon Luna. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga covers the original six films with that specific sense of humour that only works in plastic brick form. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars focuses on the larger battles from the TV show.
Free PC Games Included with Prime: May 2026
