The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October 2026 arrive on October 6 with three games joining the lineup. F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 can all be added to your PlayStation Plus library through November 2.
F1 25 covers Formula One racing with Career, My Team 2.0, and online competition. Hunt: Showdown 1896 sends you after bosses and bounties as monsters and rival Hunters try to stop you. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 brings co-op action with four-character teams and a voxel-style Earth.
PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Arrive October 6
All three October games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from October 6 through November 2.
F1 25
F1 25 is available on PS5.
It’s the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. Career and My Team 2.0 are among its single-player options. In My Team 2.0, you take charge of your own Formula 1 team.
Online racing is also part of F1 25. You can form a squad with friends in F1 World and race against AI drivers.
Hunt: Showdown 1896
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is available on PS5.
In each match, you track a boss, fight for the bounty, and try to reach an extraction point before rival Hunters take it. Monsters also stand between you and the bounty.
You can enter alone or bring up to two teammates.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is available on PS5 and PS4.
The EDF spin-off returns to a voxel-style Earth under attack by giant enemies. You rescue scattered teammates, then assemble a four-character team and choose their equipment before battle.
Characters and enemies from the main EDF games and spin-offs also appear in voxel form. Online co-op supports four people. Local split-screen supports two on PS5 and PS4.
More PlayStation Plus Extras Arrive in October
PlayStation Plus members can claim limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars at no extra cost through Sony Pictures Core beginning October 6. The promotion ends October 20 and is available in regions where Sony Pictures Core is offered.
The Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle became available October 1 as part of the PlayStation Plus Exclusive HorrorFest Packs. The Hunt: Showdown 1896 Starter Pack arrives October 6. The Overwatch 2 Draugr Reinhardt + 5 Tier Skips Pack follows October 7. You need to own the relevant base game to access each pack.
September’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Leave October 5
PlayStation Plus members have until October 5 to add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes to their libraries.
F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 replace them on October 6 and remain available through November 2. Once added, the October games stay in your PlayStation Plus library as long as your membership remains active. Monthly Games availability can differ by region, so check your local PlayStation Store when the October lineup goes live.
