Race to 100 Games – August 2022 Update

Continuing with Stadia Stats, lets take a moment to reflect on how Stadia is doing on its race to 100+ games in 2022.

With the latest games to release Saints Row, Yars: Recharged & Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, the 2022 game count is sitting at 48. This is only a increase of 7 games since our July Update.

To reach 100 games by the end of the year is becoming a bigger ask as each month passes by. However, there is some positives to take away from the Race to 100 games infographic above. We continue to see a similar trend to 2020 which means we could still see a flurry of games released as we close out the year.

Also, because we are in a good mood we’ll give you a sneak peek, qith known release dates (10) we can forecast that at a further 10 games will be on the platform by the end of November*. Bringing our game count for 2022 to 58 games.

* Please Note that these are exact release dates and not estimates such as Fall 2022 etc…

Count of Game Released each month

At the time of writing this article, the game count for August is 5. While it doesn’t match the dizzy height of June and July it all counts towards the final target of 100+. With Tri6: Infinite already announced as a Pro title for September along with known dates of games such as From Space and FIFA23 – which can be pre-ordered – there will be another 5 games added to Stadia next month. Fingers crossed for a few more stealth drops.
