Samsung is hiring a Sr Growth and Operations Manager, Cloud Gaming to help scale its Mobile Cloud Gaming platform. The role covers paid user acquisition, ad-tech operations, publisher and developer support, attribution, and coordination with U.S. and Korean teams.
Samsung wants the role to help grow adoption of its mobile cloud streaming product. The position sits inside Samsung’s North America Content & Services division, which develops services across the company’s mobile ecosystem.
Samsung Is Scaling Operations Around Mobile Cloud Gaming
The new role touches several parts of Samsung’s mobile cloud gaming operation. The manager will work with external game publishers and developers on onboarding and partner success. The role also coordinates with marketing, business development, product, engineering, data, and operations teams.
The job also includes campaign performance reviews, ad-tech troubleshooting, attribution work, and platform testing. Samsung says the manager will coordinate with QA, engineering, and operations teams in the U.S. and Korea for global campaign launches and testing.
In March, we covered a different Samsung gaming hire for a Strategic Partner Manager, Gaming. That role focused more broadly on partnerships across Samsung’s Smart TV and hardware ecosystem. This new position is directly tied to mobile cloud gaming operations and growth.
Paid User Acquisition Is a Major Part of the Role
Samsung expects the new manager to execute and optimize paid user acquisition campaigns for partners on its Mobile Cloud Gaming platform. The position also calls for experience with mobile ad tech, attribution tools, campaign metrics, and measuring return on investment.
The role includes helping publishers and developers work through Samsung’s advertising technology tools and troubleshoot technical integration issues. The manager would handle both partner support and the systems behind those campaigns.
Mobile Cloud Gaming Already Runs Through Galaxy Store and Gaming Hub
Samsung calls its cloud streaming technology Instant Plays 2.0. Compatible games run through Samsung’s virtual Android clusters. Galaxy Store handles the cloud stream, while Gaming Hub helps people discover cloud-enabled games.
The platform lets publishers send people from an ad click directly into a streamed game without the usual installation step. Samsung also supports mobile measurement partners for campaign attribution. That connects the cloud gaming experience with the user acquisition work described in the new role.
Samsung officially commercialized its mobile cloud gaming platform in North America in November 2024. It expanded the platform into Europe in August 2025 with a beta rollout starting in the U.K. and Germany.
The current hiring gives us another look at the work happening around that platform now. Partner onboarding, paid acquisition, ad-tech operations, attribution, and global coordination all sit inside one senior role. It gives us a clearer picture of how Samsung is staffing its mobile cloud gaming business.
