Sora Stream And Tate Multimedia Announce A New Cloud Gaming Partnership

Deathbound, Urban Trial Playground, and Kao the Kangaroo featured in the Sora Stream and Tate Multimedia cloud gaming partnership.

Sora Stream and Tate Multimedia have announced a new cloud gaming partnership, bringing Deathbound, Urban Trial Playground, and Kao the Kangaroo to the service. All three games are already available through Sora Stream and form the first confirmed group under the agreement.

Across the three confirmed games, Deathbound brings character-switching Soulslike combat, Urban Trial Playground focuses on arcade motorcycle racing, and Kao the Kangaroo adds 3D platforming.

Deathbound Brings Character-Switching Soulslike Combat To Sora Stream

Deathbound comes from Trialforge Studio and Tate Multimedia. You can switch among four characters during the same fight, changing the attacks and abilities available without ending the encounter. Moving to another fighter can extend an attack or bring in a skill suited to the enemy in front of you.

You manage the full party during combat, so the choice isn’t locked before the fight begins. A character’s ability can connect with the next fighter’s attack, so each switch has a clear purpose. The four characters also carry separate combat styles, changing how you handle the next exchange.

Urban Trial Playground Brings Motorcycle Stunts And Score Chasing

Urban Trial Playground centres on arcade motorcycle racing and repeated attempts at better scores and faster times. A ghost of your previous best lets you race directly against an earlier attempt across more than 50 levels. The ghost turns every completed course into a benchmark for the next attempt.

Freestyle tracks trick combinations, and Time Trial focuses on reaching the finish quickly. Motorcycle upgrades change how the bike responds on each course, which can improve control after a mistimed jump. Online leaderboards add another target once you’ve beaten your own best.

Kao The Kangaroo Adds 3D Platforming And Exploration

Kao the Kangaroo focuses on platforming and exploration across a series of 3D areas. Kao’s magical gloves support his attacks and other abilities as he searches for collectables and works through environmental puzzles.

The story follows Kao as he looks for answers about his missing father. Collectables encourage you to check side paths, and combat breaks up longer stretches of platforming. Kao’s family story continues alongside that exploration.

The Tate Multimedia agreement follows Sora Stream’s June 2026 partnership with Wired Productions, which brought Arcade Paradise, Tin Hearts, and Deliver Us the Moon to the service. Sora Stream described the new partnership using the phrase “games like,” leaving room for other Tate Multimedia games beyond the three currently confirmed. No next game or addition date has been announced by Sora Stream.
