There had been some murmurs that it was coming, and, stepping forth from the shadows, just like the Balrog, Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition has shadow-dropped on consoles and PC.
Apsyr Media has revived the classic 2011 action RPG, giving the game much-needed quality-of-life improvements and enabling it to run at a smooth 4K 60FPS.
In a first, the game has also arrived on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
There is extra good news for PlayStation fans; those who purchase the game on Sony’s console will also be able to stream it instantly on PlayStation Cloud Gaming, either via their PS5 console or PlayStation Portal.
