The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Is Getting a New Expansion

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Once again, the rumours were true: CD Projekt Red has officially confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be getting a new expansion.

They took to their official social media channels to announce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past.

It is being co-developed by Fool’s Theory and will come to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S later in 2027.

No more details were shared other than that we can expect more information in late summer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was first released over 10 years ago. Since then, CD Projekt Red has done a fantastic job of keeping the game updated, not just with new expansions but also with various quality-of-life updates. It is also widely available to play across a range of cloud gaming services.

Back in 2024, CD Projekt Red officially announced The Witcher IV, where Ciri will take on the role of the main protagonist.
