Blacknut has announced a new publishing partnership with Stunlock Studios that brings the hit vampire action RPG V Rising to its cloud gaming platform. The launch marks the first release under the partnership and arrives, in Blacknut’s words, “just in time for Halloween”, though no exact date has been given.
Blending action RPG combat, survival mechanics, and gothic fantasy, V Rising has carved out a distinctive position in the gaming market through its vampire-themed universe, deep progression systems, and castle-building mechanics. Players must hunt for blood, gather resources, craft equipment, and defeat powerful enemies as they rise through a dark, open world.
V Rising Coming Soon to Blacknut
For Blacknut, the deal is another step in its strategy of strengthening the catalog with premium titles from established developers and publishers. The service passed the 1,000-game mark. You can read our full Blacknut review or browse the complete list of Blacknut games for the current picture.
V Rising is no stranger to the cloud: it is already streamable on services like GeForce NOW and Boosteroid, as tracked on our V Rising cloud availability page, and we paired its 1.1 update with GeForce NOW Ultimate earlier this year. Its arrival on Blacknut opens the gothic world of Vardoran to yet another audience, with no gaming PC required.
Launching V Rising for Halloween offers a fitting introduction to the partnership, bringing its dark vampire universe to players at one of the year’s most atmospheric times. Blacknut says it will keep working with leading developers and publishers to combine variety with premium titles across its catalog.
