The summer season of video game announcements is nearly upon us and today we have the news that Xbox’s big summer showcase will take place on June 9th!
In addition, Xbox has announced that their summer showcase will be followed up by the ‘REDACTED‘ direct.
What could this mysterious ‘REDACTED‘ direct be? Well, the clue in the image most likely points toward it being the unveiling of this year’s Call of Duty title.
This year’s Xbox summer showcase could very well be a stacked event. We will most likely see more about the games that will be arriving on Xbox in the second half of 2024, titles such as Indiana Jones, Avowed, and Towerborne, as well as news on updates to current titles such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Forza, and Starfield.
We could also, however, get a look at what will be coming beyond this year for Xbox, games such as Fable, Blade, and South of Midnight.
How about titles we have not officially seen as of yet, such as State of Decay 3, the new title from Zenimax and without saying too much let’s just say I am confident we will see what’s next for the Gears of War franchise at the showcase.
