Comcast is once again putting its gaming partnerships front and centre. The company announced today that Xfinity Rewards members will receive early access to the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Open Beta. Members can jump in from October 2–5 during the Early Access period, with the full Open Beta available October 5–8.
This perk is part of Xfinity’s ongoing partnership with Activision, which has delivered more than 1.5 million early access codes since 2018. As the official internet service provider of Call of Duty, Xfinity continues to highlight its network as the “largest, fastest and most reliable” in the U.S., touting both fast speeds and low latency as major benefits for gamers.
That focus on reducing lag has been a consistent theme for Comcast this year. Back in January, we covered the launch of its ultra-low lag Internet experience, which uses new low-latency DOCSIS (LLD) technology to improve responsiveness across gaming, cloud services, and real-time applications.
With Black Ops 7’s beta approaching, Xfinity customers enrolled in the Rewards program can claim their codes directly through the portal. Codes can then be redeemed in Activision accounts to secure early access. For gamers, it’s another chance to lock in bonus playtime before the rest of the community jumps in.
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Open Beta Early Access Details
Getting into the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Open Beta early is straightforward if you’re an Xfinity customer. The Early Access period runs from October 2–5, while the Open Beta follows from October 5–8.
To secure your early spot, you’ll need to be part of the Xfinity Rewards program. Signing up is free for Xfinity customers. All you have to do is go to xfinity.com/rewards and log in with your Xfinity ID and password. Once enrolled, you’ll find the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta tile in the rewards portal. Click “Get this Reward” and you’ll receive your unique Early Access code.
After claiming your code, the next step is activating it with your Activision account. Log in to your account, enter the code, and you’ll be set for the Early Access window starting October 2. When the public beta opens on October 5, you’ll be able to jump back in without needing to do anything extra.
Xfinity highlights this as part of its ongoing Call of Duty partnership, which has already given out more than 1.5 million early access codes since 2018. For Rewards members, it’s another bonus that makes sure you can get hands-on with the game before everyone else.

Xfinity’s Gaming Push
The Call of Duty partnership isn’t just about giving out beta codes. Comcast is using it to highlight how Xfinity positions itself as the internet provider of choice for gamers. The company points to its fast speeds, wide coverage, and low latency as key reasons tens of millions of gamers across the U.S. rely on its service.
Xfinity has been the official internet service provider of Call of Duty since 2018, and this collaboration has grown over the years. Beyond offering early access codes, the company emphasizes its technical edge. Earlier this year, we covered the launch of Comcast’s ultra-low lag Internet service, which uses new low-latency DOCSIS technology to reduce delays in cloud gaming, video calling, and other real-time applications. That same technology underpins Xfinity’s pitch to gamers looking for a more responsive experience online.
For gamers who value quick reactions and reliable connections, Xfinity wants to be seen as more than just an ISP. It wants to be part of how you play.
Ready Up for the Black Ops 7 Open Beta
If you’re an Xfinity customer, getting into the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Open Beta early couldn’t be easier. Early Access runs from October 2–5, and then the Open Beta follows October 5–8. All you need to do is sign up for Xfinity Rewards, claim your code, drop it into your Activision account, and you’re good to go.
For you, though, the real takeaway is extra time in the beta. You’ll be able to jump in a few days before the crowd, test out what Black Ops 7 has to offer, and maybe even find your go-to loadout before launch. Getting in early is always a nice flex when your friends are still waiting for the Open Beta to begin.
So, are you grabbing an Xfinity Rewards code to get that early edge? And when you do, what’s the first thing you’re planning to try in the beta?
