Apex Gaming Network (AGN) is looking beyond Canada for its gaming advertising business, and GeForce NOW is part of that plan. CEO and co-founder Walder Amaya outlined the strategy in an October 14 article published on LinkedIn. He wants AGN’s relationship with NVIDIA to help advertisers reach gaming audiences across multiple countries.
There’s already some history behind that connection. NVIDIA brought ads to its GeForce NOW Free membership in March 2024, with PlayerWON announcing its partnership later that month. AGN publicly identified PlayerWON as one of its partners at the time. Since then, AGN has expanded into the UK and US and launched AlphaKonnect to manage advertising across different gaming platforms.
AGN’s PlayerWON Connection Dates Back to 2024
When NVIDIA introduced ads for GeForce NOW Free members in March 2024, they appeared before gameplay rather than interrupting a game. The advertising was intended to help support free access. PlayerWON followed with its NVIDIA partnership announcement on March 25.
AGN was connected to that news through PlayerWON. In a LinkedIn post, it congratulated the company and described PlayerWON as a partner. Walder and AGN president Chris Lombardi also attended NVIDIA’s IAB PlayFronts event in New York.
At the time, AGN had publicly identified PlayerWON as a partner, not announced its own NVIDIA contract. Walder now refers to AGN’s relationship with NVIDIA, but hasn’t explained whether that agreement is direct or how PlayerWON fits in today.
AGN Expands Its Advertising Business Beyond Canada
AGN has been building a presence outside Canada for more than two years. The Toronto-based company entered the UK market in June 2024 and announced its US expansion in February 2026. Adam Keaney joined as senior vice president, USA, to oversee the American business.
Keaney has a direct connection to the earlier GeForce NOW advertising deal. Before joining AGN, he was PlayerWON’s general manager and wrote its March 2024 NVIDIA announcement. He was involved when GeForce NOW advertising was first introduced, well before taking the role at AGN.
AlphaKonnect is part of that expansion too. AGN launched the platform in November 2025 to help advertisers plan, manage and measure campaigns in one place. It covers several gaming environments, including cloud gaming and connected TVs, according to AGN. The company hasn’t confirmed a specific GeForce NOW integration.
GeForce NOW Fits Into AGN’s Global Advertising Strategy
A brand trying to reach gamers in Canada, the UK and the US may end up working with different advertising partners in each country. Reporting can vary, too. Walder wants AGN to handle more of that work through relationships with gaming companies that already operate internationally.
That’s where GeForce NOW comes in. NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service reaches gamers across different countries and devices. Walder wants AGN to help brands reach those audiences without arranging everything market by market.
Walder isn’t suggesting that the same advertising campaign can simply be copied into every country. Regulations, audiences and creative requirements still vary. That’s where AGN’s local operations come in.
Walder hasn’t said which markets AGN currently covers through GeForce NOW or whether brands can manage one campaign across several countries. AGN’s expansion into the UK and US is already underway, but how its NVIDIA relationship translates into advertising opportunities in those markets remains unclear. That’s the detail that will tell us how far AGN’s GeForce NOW plans have progressed.
