Ludium Lab will attend the MEF Global Carrier Billing & Mobile Payments Summit 2026 in Amsterdam on September 29 and 30. The company says cloud gaming, carrier billing, and payment experiences are among the areas it wants to discuss with potential partners.

Ludium sees carrier billing and easier payment experiences as important to the growth of digital entertainment. It specifically names cloud gaming, subscriptions, and premium digital content. The company wants to explore how telecom operators can help those services reach more users.

Gaming Is Part Of The Carrier Billing Conversation

The MEF summit brings together mobile network operators, content providers, regulators, technology platforms, and companies working across carrier billing and mobile payments. Representatives from the UK, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East are expected, with discussions covering more than 20 markets.

Gaming is already part of that agenda. MEF says the event will cover streaming, gaming, subscriptions, and new approaches to distributing digital services through carrier partnerships.

On September 29, “The Carrier as Content Distributor – From Billing Rail to Strategic Partner” will focus on a larger distribution role for carriers. MEF lists audio and video streaming, gaming, and digital subscriptions among the biggest carrier billing use cases.

Carrier Billing Already Supports Sora Stream Expansion

Ludium already has direct experience with this model through Sora Stream. In July, Ludium Lab partnered with Mobile Arts to support the cloud gaming service across Saudi Arabia and other mobile-first markets. Mobile Arts is supporting telecom relationships and carrier billing. Its role also covers local payment options and performance marketing.

Sora Stream also had a carrier billing connection in Saudi Arabia through STC earlier this year. STC offered discounted Sora Stream access through the mystc app, with subscribers able to use their STC account for payment.

Mobile Arts is also part of the MEF agenda. Chief Commercial Officer Hussein Taki is scheduled for the September 29 panel “Mobile Wallets and Carrier Billing: Rivals, Rails or Partners.” The session will cover premium content monetization through operator billing. It will also examine how carriers can integrate digital services into broader customer offerings.

Telcos Can Become Cloud Gaming Distribution Partners

A telecom operator doesn’t have to stop at providing the network connection for cloud gaming. It can also provide billing, local payment access, customer reach, and a distribution channel for the service.

Several MEF discussions are built around that broader role. For Ludium, it also matches work already happening around Sora Stream. Telecom and payment partnerships are already part of its regional expansion.

We’ll be watching MEF on September 29 and 30 for any Ludium Lab news or announcements around Sora Stream, carrier billing, or new telecom partnerships.
