Amazon Luna Adding Two New Games in March

The month of February was a rough one for Amazon’s fledgling cloud service. The Amazon Luna service will end up losing 56 games over the course of the month and the service picked up just two relatively small titles – though we recommend checking out Sail Forth!

For March, we already know of 5 titles that will be leaving, including popular titles like Lost Judgment, and Kingdom Come Deliverance. It’s possible that the list of games leaving could expand, but we are hopeful that it stays at just five.

While it doesn’t fully offset even the 5 titles leaving, Luna has at least today announced that two more new titles will be added to Luna+ in March:

  • Guacamelee 2 (a sequel to a game that recently joined the service)
  • Citizen Sleeper

Guacamelee 2

In their blog post, Luna describes this sequel as follows:

In the long-awaited sequel to Guacamelee, players return as luchador Juan Aguacate as he uppercuts his way to victory across stunning new hand-crafted levels in Guacamelee! 2. Learn new bone-crunching moves to fend off the skeletal hordes and overcome a variety of platforming challenges with a new weirdos and old friends. Players have new moves like Eagle Boost, new powers for Juan’s chicken form, and more.

It is nice to see both a game and its sequel available on the same cloud service. Both of these titles should be excellent with Luna Couch. So, we applaud this pickup!

Citizen Sleeper will add some diversity to Luna’s catalog. It’s a Narrative RPG described as:

Citizen Sleeper is a narrative RPG set on Erlin’s Eye, a ruined space station that is home to thousands of people trying to surviuce on the edges of an interstellar capitalist society. Players are sleepers, a digitized human consciousness in an artificial body, owned by a corporation. In Citizen Sleeper players must build friendships, earn their keep, and navigate the factions of the strange metropolis in hopes to survive the next cycle.

Four Games Cycle In and Out of the Prime Gaming Channel

In addition, Amazon has announced that four of its existing Luna games will enter the Amazon Prime Gaming Channel:

We definitely recommend you give Get Packed a try! It’s a game we absolutely adored on Stadia.

These games will replace the four from February:

Make sure to finish playing these before the end of the month!
