Netgem is taking PLEIO cloud gaming to IBC 2026 in Amsterdam to meet with more telecom operators. The company shared its plans in a new LinkedIn post, positioning PLEIO around its Watch. Stream. Play. home-entertainment offer.
The timing lines up with the expansion Netgem outlined in its recent financial results. PLEIO rolled out through more UK operators during the first half of 2026. Vialis also launched PLEIO in France. Netgem expects more UK operator deployments during the second half of the year.
PLEIO Heads To IBC With Telecom Operators In Focus
IBC 2026 runs from September 11 through September 14 at RAI Amsterdam. Netgem is using the event to talk directly with telecom operators about content costs, streaming discovery and customer engagement.
Cloud gaming is part of the PLAY side of Netgem’s Watch. Stream. Play. pitch. It sits alongside live TV and streaming as part of a broader home-entertainment package for telecom customers.
Netgem is pitching that combination as a way for operators to differentiate their entertainment offers and create more reasons for customers to return. The company also links the model to reducing churn.
That distribution model is already central to PLEIO. Through broadband and TV operators, the service can reach households as part of a wider entertainment package.
Netgem Already Plans More PLEIO Operator Deployments
Netgem’s latest financial results connect the IBC appearance to an expansion already underway. The company reported €16.7 million in revenue for the first half of 2026, up 8% from €15.4 million during the same period last year. That figure covers Netgem as a whole, rather than PLEIO alone.
During the first half, PLEIO expanded through additional UK operators. Netgem also expects more UK operator deployments during the second half of 2026. Vialis went live with PLEIO in France.
IBC gives Netgem another chance to put that distribution model in front of telecom companies while those plans are moving ahead. The LinkedIn post does not announce a new operator deal, so this is not confirmation of another PLEIO rollout yet.
Netgem’s upcoming trade-show plans also have two different goals. At Gamescom 2026, the company plans to meet publishers and expand PLEIO’s game catalogue. At IBC, the focus is on telecom operators that could distribute PLEIO to more households.
IBC 2026 runs September 11 through September 14. We’ll be watching for any operator announcements tied to Netgem’s appearance.
