PHYND has added Karate Survivor, Pocket Kingdom, Flashback 2, and Yesterday Origins to its free cloud gaming library. All four games are available now.

Karate Survivor has ’80s-inspired martial arts action, and Pocket Kingdom sends you exploring a mysterious island filled with puzzles. Flashback 2 brings back Conrad B. Hart for another sci-fi adventure. Yesterday Origins follows a mystery that stretches across centuries.

Karate Survivor and Pocket Kingdom Bring Fighting and Puzzles

Karate Survivor puts you in the middle of fights against waves of thugs, with combat inspired by classic martial arts movies. You’ll collect new fighting techniques, arrange them into combos, and use whatever happens to be nearby to deal with enemies.

The environment isn’t just scenery, either. You can turn everyday objects into weapons and use your surroundings when enemies close in. It’s a roguelite, so building up your moves and finding effective combinations is part of each attempt.

Pocket Kingdom takes you to a mysterious island floating in the clouds. You’ll explore its districts, meet the locals, and uncover clues about the strange place you’ve ended up in. Getting off the island means finding your way through its puzzles and hidden areas.

Changing gravity and using items you find open up new paths. Its pixel-art style and chiptune music fit the game’s retro approach.

Flashback 2 and Yesterday Origins Add Sci-Fi and Mystery

Flashback 2 brings back Conrad B. Hart, the hero of the original 1992 Flashback. This time, he’s searching for his friend Ian as the Morphs threaten the solar system. The action combines shooting and platforming with exploration and puzzles.

Conrad uses A.I.S.H.A., an AI-powered weapon, as he travels through locations including New Tokyo and New Washington. Original Flashback creator Paul Cuisset also returned for the sequel.

Yesterday Origins follows John Yesterday, who becomes immortal after an occult ritual in the 15th century. Each time he returns from the dead, he loses his memories.

Centuries later, John and his girlfriend Pauline investigate the ritual and the people who want its secrets. You’ll move between different periods, search for clues and work through puzzles as the story connects John’s past to the present.

Yesterday Origins is rated Mature, so you’ll need a free PHYND account to play it.
