Sora Stream is making a massive play for the cloud gaming spotlight. Today, Ludium Lab announced that it has completely relaunched Sora Stream with a fresh brand identity, an expanded game library, and a brand-new subscription structure. The most important update is the new Pro tier, which significantly expands PC library integration on the platform.
Expanding the Bring Your Own Game Library
Sora Stream previously experimented with a “Your Own Games” section for Steam and Epic Games, but this relaunch completely restructures that feature. By subscribing to the new Pro plan for €7.99 a month, or a discounted €79.99 per year, you get full access to the library catalogue and the ability to play a large portion of your existing game libraries in the cloud.
Most notably, this update officially adds Battle.net integration to the platform, putting Sora Stream in direct competition with services like GeForce NOW and Boosteroid. If you only want the included 500-game catalogue without the external PC library integration, the Standard plan remains available for €4.99 a month or €49.99 a year. Both tiers support up to four user profiles.
Roblox Arrives in the Cloud
The catalogue expansion brings a heavy hitter to the service. Sora Stream now natively supports Roblox. Bringing a game with over 350 million monthly active users to a cloud platform is a massive win for accessibility. Users no longer need an expensive device to run heavy user-generated experiences.
Platform Upgrades and Launch Promos
Ludium Lab is also relying on AI to manage server loads and stream quality. According to Ludium Lab CEO Juan José Martín, the platform now uses patented AI technology to automate the Bring Your Own Game software integration with a single click. The updated infrastructure features a personalized recommendation engine and automatically adjusts graphical fidelity based on your device. Martín claims the new setup supports maximum frame rates and resolutions exceeding 4K. They also added smart queues to drastically cut down on wait times during peak hours.
Sora Stream runs natively on iOS and Android devices, Smart TVs, and standard web browsers. Anyone curious about the new infrastructure has a full 24-hour free trial to test the service. To celebrate the relaunch, Ludium Lab is offering a 30 percent discount on your next subscription payment if you sign up before July 31. The company also confirmed a detailed roadmap is already in place for future improvements.
