Amazon Luna Games Arrive on Prime Video in Canada, France, Italy and Spain

Luna Prime

Prime members in Canada, France, Italy, and Spain can now play Amazon Luna games inside the Prime Video app on Fire TV. The games are included with Prime at no additional cost, with nothing to download or buy.

Eight more European countries are planned to follow in November: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden. Once that rollout is complete, Luna will be reachable through Prime Video on Fire TV in all 14 countries where the service is available.

The expansion extends the late-July launch that brought Luna into the Prime Video app on Fire TV in the US and UK. A move Amazon tied to its goal of reaching tens of millions of players within five years.

How to find the games

On a Fire TV, Prime members open the Prime Video app and head to the Games tab. The library included with Prime rotates over time, and no console or gaming PC is needed. For requirements and controls, see our guide on how to play Amazon Luna through Prime Video.

What is in the library

Amazon names STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage among the major titles included. Alongside casual games like Bluey: The Videogame, Goat Simulator, Dispatch, and Wobbly Life.

The tie-in with Prime Video goes beyond sharing an app. With the new season of Batman: Caped Crusader on Prime Video, players can step into Gotham of Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles on Luna without leaving it.

Luna’s GameNight collection of party games, including King of Tokyo, Clue, Ticket to Ride, and Taboo, is designed for groups. Players join using their phones as controllers by scanning a QR code, so no extra hardware is needed.
