Netgem is taking its PLEIO cloud gaming solution to Singapore for Broadcast Asia 2026. And, the move makes it clear that the company is ready to take its “Watch. Stream. Play.” model global. By showcasing at the French Pavilion from May 20 to May 22, Netgem is looking to convince Asian Telcos that cloud gaming is the best way to give their 5G and Fibre networks an edge in a crowded market.

The strategy here isn’t just about dumping a bunch of games onto a server and hoping for the best. Netgem’s model focuses on integrating gaming directly into the TV services that Telcos already provide to their customers. We’ve seen this work before in Europe, where the service successfully expanded to Bouygues in France and POST Luxembourg. By pitching the same setup in Singapore, Netgem is betting that high-speed networks in the region are hungry for content.

Service integration gives Telcos a lead over traditional TV

In a market where every provider is fighting over the same subscribers, Netgem is pitching PLEIO as a weapon for brand differentiation. The service provides instant access to over 300 video games. All of which run directly on existing hardware like set-top boxes or mobile devices. It’s a way to turn a standard internet subscription into a gaming hub without the barrier of a five-hundred-dollar console.

The library has started to move beyond simple indie games, too. We recently saw Mafia: Definitive Edition land on PLEIO as a major AAA game anchor. Proving that the tech can handle heavy-hitting cinematic experiences. I remember the first time I fired up a cloud game on a mobile network while sitting at a bus stop. The idea that I could run through an open world on a phone felt like science fiction. Netgem wants to make that a standard part of the connected household in Asia.

PLEIO expansion turns Singapore into a global cloud gaming testbed

Showing up at Broadcast Asia 2026 is a deliberate signal that Netgem’s ambitions have moved far beyond its European roots. The “Watch. Stream. Play.” branding is designed to bridge the gap between traditional media consumption and interactive entertainment. By bundling these experiences into broadband and TV packages, they’re removing the barriers that usually stops casual fans from trying out new games.

Asia is a massive market for both mobile gaming and high-speed infrastructure. This makes it a natural proving ground for this next push. Netgem is inviting Telco teams to book demos at Booth 5.G1-1 during the show to see the cloud-powered solution in person. Whether this leads to a massive wave of new partnerships in the region remains to be seen. However, the intent to dominate the Telco-integrated gaming space is clearly on display.
