Netgem PLEIO Adds Six More Cloud Games Including NBA Bounce

NBA Bounce characters jump toward the basket as Netgem PLEIO adds the game to its cloud gaming lineup.

Netgem PLEIO is marking six months since launch in the UK with a content update that adds six cloud games to the existing PLEIO plan. The new cloud gaming additions are NBA Bounce, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game, and Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart. The update also includes The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, Dome Keeper, and Backpack Hero.

The update keeps PLEIO focused on the living room bundle Netgem has been building for UK ISPs and international operators. Netgem doesn’t treat cloud gaming as a standalone add-on. It packages cloud games with Freely channels over Wi-Fi. Google Play access, 150+ extra channels and a bundled wireless controller inside a broader entertainment plan.

NBA Bounce Leads PLEIO’s Six Game Update

NBA Bounce gets the first spotlight in this PLEIO update. Netgem is using the NBA playoff season as the timing hook. This makes sense for a basketball game built around NBA teams, team-themed courts, and mascots.

It also fits the way PLEIO is meant to work at home. NBA Bounce is closer to a family basketball party game than a full simulation. So, it gives the update a straightforward couch-play lead. With a wireless controller included in the PLEIO package, the value is simple. Turn on the TV, grab the controller, and get into something familiar without making the game feel intimidating.

Family Games And Strategy Picks

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game brings Bikini Bottom into the update through Patrick’s physics-based sandbox play. The game is built around open-ended messing about, object interactions, and light challenges from familiar SpongeBob characters. In a TV-led package, that kind of name recognition helps the game list make sense quickly.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart gives PLEIO a cartoon kart racer based on the animated series. The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom adds action-RPG play based on the book and Netflix series. With Jack Sullivan and his friends fighting monsters across a post-apocalyptic town. It gives the update another recognizable family game. But one aimed more at kids who want combat and adventure rather than kart racing or sandbox play.

Dome Keeper and Backpack Hero are the two additions that push the update beyond licensed family games. Dome Keeper mixes underground resource gathering with dome defence. Backpack Hero turns inventory placement into the main decision point. Since the way items sit in your backpack changes how useful they are. Those two games give the update more range for anyone who wants strategy instead of character-driven family play.

Netgem PLEIO Uses New Games To Strengthen Its ISP Offer

Netgem says the six cloud games are being added at no extra charge inside the existing PLEIO plan. Pricing is listed as £5 to £10 per month depending on the ISP plan, so the update adds more games to the current package rather than creating a separate paid add-on.

The existing package already includes built-in Freely channels over Wi-Fi, Google Play access, 150+ extra channels, 300+ cloud games, and a wireless gamepad. Adding six more cloud games gives operators another way to refresh the offer without changing the core pitch. PLEIO continues to work differently from a standard cloud gaming subscription. Netgem is aiming at telecom operators first, with cloud gaming sitting inside a wider home entertainment hub.
