Netgem is bringing PLEIO to gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 in Bangkok to meet game publishers and expand its cloud gaming partnerships. The company wants to bring more games to people through its existing telecom relationships, including Jio in India and Telkom Indonesia.
In a LinkedIn post announcing its attendance, Netgem pointed to the audience those partnerships could reach. It estimates a potential audience of more than 400 million across the two telecom ecosystems. That’s potential reach for publishers, not the number of people currently using PLEIO or its partner gaming services.
JioGames and Telkom Indonesia Give Netgem an Established Presence
Netgem already works with telecom providers and game publishers across Asia. In India, it helps bring games to JioGames through its publishing partnerships. In Indonesia, its relationship with Telkom Indonesia includes GameQoo and HELD. These services let people stream games without buying a costly gaming PC or console.
GameQoo is accessible on PCs and TV set-top boxes, and HELD focuses on mobile devices. Netgem and Telkom Indonesia launched HELD in August 2026, bringing PC and console games to phones in Indonesia.
At launch, HELD included games such as Overcooked! 2 and Mafia: Definitive Edition. Publishers including 2K and Outright Games were represented in its catalogue.
We’ve also seen how Netgem’s publishing relationships can bring games to more than one service. In August, Mafia II: Definitive Edition arrived on JioGames in India and was announced for HELD in Indonesia through Netgem’s partnership with 2K.
That gives publishers a concrete example of how one game can reach different telecom-operated services. People don’t have to own a gaming PC or console to play it through the cloud.
PLEIO also goes beyond cloud gaming. Netgem combines television, streaming and games under its Watch. Stream. Play. offering. Telecom operators can include these entertainment services in what they offer their customers.
Netgem Looks to Expand Its Game Publisher Partnerships
In Bangkok, Netgem plans to meet publishers it hasn’t worked with before and reconnect with existing partners. It wants to convince more game companies to bring their catalogues to PLEIO-supported services.
With gaming PCs and consoles getting more expensive, Netgem sees cloud gaming as another way for publishers to reach customers. The company also wants those partnerships to create additional revenue opportunities for game publishers.
Gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 takes place from October 29 through November 1 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. The business exhibition and conference run October 29 and 30.
