Welcome back to the Canadian edition of Charting in the Clouds, our monthly look at Canada’s top-selling games and the latest Canadian game sales trends. Forza Horizon 6 led Canada’s top-selling games of June 2026 for a second consecutive month. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight remained second, followed by 007 First Light in third and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream in fourth.
June kept May’s entire top four in the same order, but the rest of the chart changed considerably. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Star Fox, and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales entered the 2026 top 10 for the first time. Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V also returned after missing May. Resident Evil: Requiem was the only game outside the top four to keep the same position.
We’ve included cloud gaming availability again this month. Eight of June’s top 10 can be played through at least one cloud gaming service. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and Star Fox are the two games without current cloud availability.

Forza Horizon 6 Holds First with May’s Top Four Unchanged
Forza Horizon 6 remained at number one in June after entering the chart in first place during May. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight stayed second, and 007 First Light kept third during its first full month on sale. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream remained fourth for a second month after entering at number two in April.
Forza Horizon 6, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and 007 First Light have now held the first three positions for two consecutive months. Tomodachi Life has spent each of its first three chart appearances inside the top four.
Resident Evil: Requiem also stayed in the same place at sixth. It’s now the only game outside June’s top four that carried its exact May position into the new month.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Enters Fifth as Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V Return
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is June’s highest new entry at fifth. Its Nintendo Switch 2 and XBOX Series X|S versions launched on June 3, placing the game in Canada’s top five during the same month.
Star Fox entered at seventh after launching for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25. Nintendo’s digital purchases aren’t included in Circana’s chart, so its seventh-place position reflects physical sales only. July will be Star Fox’s first full month on sale, so we’ll get a better sense of whether it can hold seventh place.
Minecraft returned at eighth after appearing in every chart from January through April and then missing May. It ranked fourth in January, ninth in February, tenth in March, and ninth in April.
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales entered at ninth after launching on June 18. Grand Theft Auto V followed at tenth, returning to the top 10 for the first time since it placed eighth in January. With Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders opening on June 25, some of that attention may have carried over to Grand Theft Auto V before June ended.
Those five additions replaced the entire group that occupied fifth and seventh through tenth in May. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book dropped out after placing fifth, followed by Diablo IV and MLB: The Show 26 from seventh and eighth. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Pragmata also left after ranking ninth and tenth.
Resident Evil: Requiem Reaches Five Consecutive Months
Resident Evil: Requiem remained sixth and extended its chart stay to five consecutive months. It entered at number one in February, stayed there in March, moved to seventh in April, and reached sixth in May.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 drops out after appearing in every 2026 chart from January through May. It ranked second in January and February, seventh in March, tenth in April, and ninth in May before dropping out in June.
Resident Evil: Requiem now has the longest active consecutive-month streak on the chart. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream follows with three appearances from April through June, while Forza Horizon 6, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and 007 First Light have each appeared twice.
June 2026 Wrap Up And Look Ahead
June’s unchanged top four contrasted with the turnover below it. Five games entered or returned, while Resident Evil: Requiem extended the longest active chart streak to five months.
Eight of June’s ten games have at least one current cloud option, matching April and May. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and Star Fox are the two exceptions.
July will tell us whether Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can remain in the top five and where Star Fox settles after its June 25 launch. Splatoon Raiders, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced are the July releases I’m most interested in following. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launched on July 9, giving it more of the month to register than Splatoon Raiders on July 23 or Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28. I’m also curious to see whether Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V stay after returning to the chart, and whether Resident Evil: Requiem reaches a sixth consecutive month.
